sicherheitshinweis - kleiner tipp am rande

(Auch dafür sollte ein blog genutzt werden :) ---

As communicated, Sun recently reported a major issue letting web sites to gain access to your entire computer. This is a very big concern for us, for obvious reasons so PLEASE DISABLE JAVA ON YOUR BROWSERS following those steps.

Firefox
For Windows, click on Tools -> Options, then click the Content tab.  Uncheck "Enable Java".
For Linux, click on Edit -> Preferences, then click the Content tab.  Uncheck "Enable Java".
For Mac, click on Firefox -> Preferences, then click the Content tab.  Uncheck "Enable Java".
Please note that you have to do this for every profile.
Internet Explorer
Click on Tools, the Internet Options.  Click the Advanced tab, then find the section for Java.  Uncheck the option to "Use JRE ... for
Chrome
You will need to edit the Chrome shortcut and add the "--disable-java" flag:
Right-click the Chrome shortcut and select Properties.
In the text field for Target, add --disable-java at the end of the text, outside of the double-quotes (e.g. "C:\Documents and Settings\...\chrome.exe" --disable-java)
You should do this for all Chrome shortcuts that you use (adding the flag for one shortcut does not change other shortcuts).
